What WE Can Do For YOU!

You know that we are an independent bookseller who works hard 24/7 to feed your literary habit. You know we always strive to stock new and interesting titles that are often popular but also under the mainstream radar. The Lyndas are Here

We are so lucky.  So so lucky.  She went into the publisher’s office and signed these just for us.  Seriously. If you want one holler (phone, email, buy online–but you MUST put “signed” in the comments if you buy online–unless you’re Jim and you put “Hi Kelly” which also works). They each have a […]

Just Added: Holiday Party Thursday, Dec 9. 7-8pm at Subterranean

One of our regulars, Tori Walters, has agreed to throw together a holiday party–well, party might be too grandiose, gathering maybe–on Thursday, Dec 9,  7pm at Subterranean. A Winter’s Tale: Readings… came about because Tori, Alex and I were talking about how much we love the holidays (or maybe just Tori and I love the […]

Speaking of New York Trilogy

Who is this Flavorwire?  I am loving them.  Need to investigate. I LOVED The Boxcar Children (not the series, though, the original)

Published by under Full of ideas,Subby Love

I have a vivid memory of my mom searching for The Boxcar Children for me during a library trip, putting it in my hand and telling me I’d love it.  I don’t remember being a contrary reader, although I’ll have to check for accuracy on that.  I think I read pretty much whatever she suggested […]

New Shirts

Tip of the hat to Pudd’nHead for finding these shirts first.  We just got ours in. They come in men’s and women’s cut and in multiple sizes.  There are a ton more covers available.  I figured we’d start with these and see how they went.  We’re planning on having more styles in by the holidays.  […]
