		<description>The Lathe of Heaven is one of my favorite books.  The PBS film made years ago was also not too bad.

How odd.  I was just thinking the other day walking through B&amp;N, whatever happened to Scott Smith?  I thought A Simple Plan was dreadful and still, to this day, don&#039;t understand why Stephen King got involved in pushing it.  Yuppies being punished, eh?  Might have to give Mr. Smith another chance...</description>
