Positions Open

Published by under Misc.

We have lost the Subterranean vs Academia battle.  We now have either one full-time position open or 2 part-time positions (I haven’t decided yet) so please drop by your resume.  If you’ve done that already, please bring it by again, I’m not so good in the keeping-up-with-old-resumes department. *Update* Our team is now complete.

Dump the Pump, Baby!

Published by under Lou Life,News

Published by under poll

I can’t believe tequila is getting clobbered in the poll.  What could possibly be better than an ice-cold rocks margarita while sitting on the back porch watching the squirrels ravage the tomatoes?

Tuesday with the Kids

Published by under Events,Lou Life

Join us at the Buder Branch of the St. Louis Public Library at 6pm on Tuesday (17th) to hear Jody Feldman read from her entertaining and brain-teasing new kid’s book.  Who doesn’t like to be read to?  And it’s the most fun if it’s by the actual author! We’ll have copies of the book available […]

Time is Running Out!

Published by under Lou Life,Subby Love

There’s only a week left in Circus Flora’s St. Louis season; the big top at Grand Center goes black after Sunday. And you’d be a fool to miss it. This year’s show, “Sherwood Forest,” is one of the best in years—not that CF doesn’t consistently wow audiences with their programs. Besides the Zoppe-Cortes-Wallenda foundation of […]

Nice and Nifty

Recently, someone sent me an email about Destee-Nation, a sweet little company on the Left Coast that promotes indie businesses by selling some pretty rocking logo t-shirts based on them. They don’t venture much further out than the Pacific Northwest and Cali for partners (the company is based in Seattle)—except for Hawaii, the birthplace of Destee-Nation’s […]
