Everyone’s gonna get an equal amount of food, so don’t complain
One of my favorite aspects of MySpace is the occasional discovery of some great offbeat musician during a search for someone totally unrelated. Case in point: Reed Perkins, a glaringly Caucasian indie-hopper apparently based in Canada, upon whom I stumbled while attempting to locate a group called the Macs. I have a serious soft spot for bedroom tapes of questionable commercial potential, especially when they appear to have been cobbled together by bored teenagers in the suburbs. Listen and be saved.
