Since I’m Working From Home

Published by Kelly at 1:07 pm under News,Subby Love

gwgeI listen to A LOT of NPR.  Many of you may have heard me rant about how much I dislike Terry Gross and love Diane Rehm.   I’ve since  narrowed that down to disliking Terry Gross the interviewer but liking the topics she discusses.  Perhaps Fresh Air just needs a new host and I’d be happier.

Anyway, today she had Greg Epstein on discussing his book Good Without God: What a Billion Nonreligious People Do Believe.  I haven’t read it yet but the interview was great.  He did a fabulous job describing humanism as a positive belief system instead of a negative one, which it so often is described as.

The audio doesn’t go up on the site until 4ish pm, but at that time you can get it here

If you’re interested in purchasing the book, we have it in-stock at the store or you can order it from us online.

This is a very intriguing-looking title. Here at the store I like to display it right next to another highly interesting new book: Karen Armstrong’s “The Case for God.”

I’d love to read both, but don’t have the time. So, dear fans of Subterranean, please purchase both, read them, and let us know what you think.
